Step Into Memories: Organizing Photos with a Distinct Shoe Perspective
Explore how shoes, from business loafers to glamorous pumps, tell stories of style, identity, and organization.

The category of “shoes” left me dumbfounded about how they are represented. Images of shoes are, in figurative language, visual metaphors.
On my world travels, I focus on the odd categories for two reasons:
I love kitsch such as phones, televisions…shoes. Those types of words are the key to navigating the thousands of images I’ve uploaded to cyberspace.
Each odd category is easily labeled in Google Drive. That’s what I do, and, believe it or not, Google Drive search sometimes picks keywords words by image.
While it’s not yet as perfect as Google image search, I’m sure that’s what’s next for any website that stores images.
One of the most critical parts of categorizing your photography is by genre: portraiture, landscape, architecture, wedding, and fashion.
Some mid-twentieth-century photographers didn’t focus on genre but concentrated on whatever they thought was a fascinating subject.
