Art Linkletter is a memory. His line: Kids do the darndest things.

While only a few people recall his stick, I do, mainly when I photograph. It’s snappy, spontaneous, and slick.

It’s not only kids who are funny. Adults, young and old, are very capable comedies. And you, as a photographer, can find them in action.

Street photography is just better when you work with the subjects. It’s easy to pretend you are a talk show host when photographing subjects on the street.

Love in Mexico City

The folkloric dancers in Mexico City took a break when I asked to take their photos after telling them in Spanish that I loved their dresses.

Their reaction was orgullosa, or proud, as they fanned out their fluffy traditional garments.

The proud pair of dancers had no idea that the couple next to them had been engaged in a sweet embrace. I didn’t know either until I viewed the entire frame of the shot.
