Twice a year, in Februay and October, the inside-outside living of Palm Springs architecture goes viral on the ground and in cyberspace with Modernism Week. More and more visitors arrive in Palm Springs for their Modernism Week than ever before. It’s relentless. The people keep flowing in.

To feast on the glories of steel cantilevers, ribbed concrete and floor-to-ceiling glass among soaring butterfly roofs.

In February 2025, Modernism Week turns twenty. The celebrations planned for the anniversary are sure to attract flocks of modernism aficionados to Palm Springs, California worldwide.

The concept of a modern celebration for the desert oasis in the Coachella Valley began years before in 2001, when the Modernism Show convened for the first time in Palm Springs.
